Direct, Relational, and Engaged Therapy
MY APPROACH
I help people slow down the patterns that keep them stuck so they can understand what is happening underneath and begin to create new ways of relating.
How I Work
Therapy with me is collaborative and active.
We are in it together.
I help you name the patterns
that show up in real time,
so you can see them
more clearly and make
different choices.
The goal is not only insight -
it's meaningful change
that you can feel
in your relationships
and in your life.
I won't just sit back and nod
I am compassionate and honest. I help you see the roles you play, the strategies that once protected you, and how they may be keeping you stuck.
Together, we slow things down and practice something different. We:
• Notice the pattern as it is happening
• Understand what each persons responses protects
• Work with emotions, not just talk about them
• Practice new ways of relating
WHAT INFORMS MY WORK
My work is rooted in relational therapy and informed by attachment, Relational Life Therapy, Pia Mellody's work on childhood trauma, IFS parts work, and AEDP-informed emotional processing. I help people move from protection and reactivity toward greater honesty, connection, and choice.

What sessions are like
We slow down what usually happens automatically
We look underneath conflict, shutdown, or overwhelm
We make room for vulnerability and truth
We connect insight to real-life action
We work toward change that lasts outside the therapy
A DIRECT, RELATIONAL APPROACH
I am engaged, compassionate, and honest.
I will help you understand
your patterns, interrupt what keeps you stuck,
and begin building
something more connected
and more alive.
When you're ready, the next step is simple
If you are ready to slow down the patterns that keep you stuck and create more connected relationships to yourself and others, I welcome you to reach out.
